This project explores the creative potential of grid systems through a concept centered around a basketball icon’s most legendary Nike sneakers. The goal was to use structure and layout to celebrate the design and legacy of each shoe.
Design Challenges:
The challenge was to balance a clean, structured grid with bold, expressive visuals that reflect the energy of both the player and the sneakers. It needed to feel organized without losing excitement or visual impact.

Solutions:
I conducted in-depth research on the athlete’s career and most influential Nike sneaker releases, then translated that into detailed sketches and layout studies. Using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, I created a dynamic composition that layered images, text, and color within a modular grid system—achieving clarity, rhythm, and visual storytelling.

Result:
The final layout is bold, balanced, and engaging. It not only showcases the sneakers but also tells a story about legacy, performance, and design innovation—demonstrating how grid systems can enhance both structure and creativity.
